UNITED TRUCK PARTS INTERNATIONAL MIDGET SERIES HEADS TO BAY PARK

Round 2 of the United Truck Parts International Midget Series heads to Bay Park – Tauranga on Friday 28th December 2018. The entire field of these top drivers will have worked hard to prepare their cars ready to head tomorrow.
Round 1 was action packed with several of the top drivers ending up in the Semi Main, all trying to make the main race which had 20 drivers run the 30-Lap final. Michael Pickens lead early followed by Kyle Larson for the green to chequered 30 lap race. Several other drivers made moves throughout the field providing a great spectacle for all to see.
Bay Park is readying itself for the field to arrive on Friday to join three local classes which include Sprint Cars and Stock Cars. Racing is due to get underway at 6pm.
The race schedule will include the next International Teams Race. The USA lead after round 1 pursued by Team NZ followed by Team Australia.
People from around the world are watching the racing action on the live stream out of the USA. Darren at Speed Shift TV confirmed overnight that last nights racing action from Western Springs had the largest number of viewers for the entire year. “We are so pleased to have the exclusive rights to these shows at Western Springs,” said Darren Shanley – Director, “the level of competition down there mixed with the top USA and Australian drivers provides some of the best Midget racing we have ever seen” he said.
