NASCAR Cup Series Champion to race at Vodafone Speedway

Kyle Larson is returning to Vodafone Speedway Western Springs to compete in the World 50 Lap Race to be held at the venue on the 3rd January 2017.
Their off-season has provided an opportunity for Kyle to race both here and in Australia this summer. He is keen to get back to ‘The Springs’ to race in the United Truck Parts International Midget Series where several drivers from both Australia and the USA are running against the best New Zealand have to offer. Kyle has previously won the 50 Lapper so he knows what it takes to pull this one off.
Kyle will drive the Taylor owned Breka/Toyota running the #1 USA number. “This car has been shelved for the Series in anticipation of this deal being signed” said Harley Taylor – car owner. “It’s a thrill to have this guy here, how many other tracks outside the US get to run a guy of this quality” he said. “I have been supported by several key people and want to thank Tooltime Online, Langslow Engineering and Taylor Automotive”.
Kyle is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Cup Series and drives the #42 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing. He was 2014 Rookie of the Year, and won his first Cup Series race at Michigan in 2016, celebrating his win with his ‘steering wheel off’ salute to the crowd.
