When American team guru Keith Kunz describes Logan Seavey as “ a kid whose going places” that should be enough to sit up and take notice. For his second appearance in NZ, that’s exactly what we all should do

Seavey arrives on the back of a 3-win USAC Midget campaign which was good the second overall. The 2018 USAC Midget champion drove for Keith Kunz, developing into a leader among the Kunz stable. Making limited appearances in other classes, Seavey captured his inaugural USAC Sprintcar feature win in 2019 at the famed Kokomo Speedway on the second night of the Kokomo Smackdown.

Seavey was electric in 2019 POWRI Midget competition, recording 12 wins on a partial season of just 21 starts. A noted time trialist, it was no surprise to witness Seavey perform in the World Midget 50 lapper where he claimed third. Though perhaps Seavey’s best performance was on Boxing Night where he raced into the field from the semi-main before decimating the competition to record a brilliant third on his Springs debut.

Backed by NZ car owner Wayne Green, Logan will he behind the wheel of an immaculate Bullet by Spike, TRD as part of a two man American team for the Greenway Racing Team.
