The Porter Hire International Sprintcars are set to explode at Western Springs for two big nights on December 7 and 14.
Leading Australian Sprintcar aces Jamie Veal and former two time Australian Sprintcar Champion David Murcott head the formidable Team Australia campaign.
“I am pumped to be back in NZ” said Veal, “this time partnered with David (Murcott) I really think that we can not only win, but win well”
The consummate professionals that defines the American Team with World of Outlaw regulars Shane Stewart and Craig Dollansky will be on paper at least the benchmark for this up and coming series and will be quietly confident despite a very optimistic team Australia.
Both Stewart and Dollansky have had unbelievable success at the Springs and brings that outlaw grit and determination to this years events.
Throw in the 20 plus local stars from up and down the island, and racing is going to be hammer down from the start.
Saturday 7th Test Racing will be front and centre with a 30 Lap Feature event. On the 12th the show rolls into BayPark to battle the big wide open clay arena, all leading to the series final on December 14th with the “10 for 10” World 1/4 mile 40 Lap Classic. Thats $10,000 for 10 Miles – A fitting finish to the Porter Hire International Sprintcars Series.
Full support classes including Midgets, TQs, F2s, Kiwi Kids as well as plenty of entertainment for all the family.
