The United Truck Parts World Midget Car Series, continues with Round 4 set for New Year’s Day at Huntly International Speedway. The last 3 rounds has delivered so fast and furious, and super exciting racing with Kiwi Michael Pickens coming away with the first two rounds, however history came back and the same wall that bit the two NASCAR Stars on boxing night, took a big bite into the 8 times national champion while leading the World 30 lap Derby in front of a huge crowd at Western Springs last night. Pickens unfortunate bad luck however opened the door for Tyler ‘sunshine’ Courtney to claim his first spring’s victory since his debut here 3 seasons ago. In fact last night’s podium was an all international line up with Zach Daum claiming second for the Americans and a super-fast Kaidon Brown claiming 3rd for Australia. Fireworks will feature off and on the track at Huntly to see in 2020 and with the biggest stars in Midget Car racing the world can provide on centre stage, this is one night you don’t want to miss.
